Living Landscapes

See my work!

Wizard Island has been selected for an International Juried Show, Impressionism vs Realism-2018 , at Las Laguna Gallery, Laguna Beach, Ca, May 3-31 2018. See tab for details.

I have been part of two regional juried shows, Unchained at IMURJ, April 2018, and Scope 17-Southern Landscape at Visual Art Exchange, June 2017, both in Raleigh, NC. I am honored to have had Natural Bridge chosen for Water Works, a national juried exhibition of water-themed paintings held at the Annapolis Maritime Museum in Maryland, Sep-Oct, 2015. I have also exhibited twice at Carolina's Got Art, a juried show of North and South Carolina artists in Charlotte, NC.

Current works can always be seen at my studio in Chapel Hill, NC, by appointment at any time.

Artistic Diversity Creates an Appealing Whole

Triangle Visual Artists Group Show in the Arts & Health Galleries, Duke Hospital Concourse

13 members of TVA pesemt 2-D and 3-D works in a variety of media. I have a new piece there, Picnic Place, second of my Crater Lake series, and two other recent works as well.

Directions to Arts and Health Galleries:

Coming from the clinic building: (Trent St.) Walk outside toward the Duke Cancer Center. Between the Duke Cancer Center and the Duke Medical Pavilion, there is a large open courtyard.  Walk between the two buildings and under the pedestrian bridge which is level 2.  Enter the doors to your right.  Go straight down the hall toward the red mobile hanging from the ceiling.  At the mobile, turn left then right.  The galleries will be on your right and extend the full length of the hallway. There are 4 galleries. (This could be a long walk.)

Coming into the front of the hospital.  Park in the parking garage at the corner of Erwin Rd and Fulton St.  This garage is across the street from the main hospital.  Walk across the street and into the hospital (if you take the tunnel across, go up to the main level once you get to the end of the tunnel).  When you get to the elevators and are standing in front of them, go to the right and curve around. You will see the cafeteria on your right, continue around the curve.  There will be two hallways, enter the one on the right without doors.  Go down that hallway about 200 ft. and the galleries will be on your left behind glass. There are 4 galleries so don’t miss any.
