Cascade Peaks

As part of a spring trip to Lake Chelan in the Cascades of central Washington. we took a ferry ride to the upper end of the lake, where Northern Cascades National Park begins. You can only get there by boat or seaplane. This scene unfolded before us, and I was inspired to recapture it on canvas. It was fun to try a limited palette.

Currently on display at Hillsborough Chamber of Commerce. See Triangle Visual Artists Events in Exhibitions for address and hours.
